What is Franchise Field?
Franchise Field is a lead exchange community that allows franchisors to
plant unused dead leads in exchange for new more qualified leads. You
can search the field using criteria that meets your sales objectives,
and even save those searches for future use as more leads are planted
in the field. Franchise Field transforms the franchise industry into a
franchise community.
Who should sign up?
Franchise development teams. This tool should be used daily to help franchise
sales people become more productive in garnering qualified leads to help
them achieve sales objectives.

How do I sign up?
Go to the home page and sign up for your free account. You can login through
LinkedIn to make it even more seamless.
How do leads get harvested?
After signing up for your account, you will receive 10 free credits to
harvest leads. You can search the field based on criteria that you have
submitted. The leads will appear in list format and you will have the
ability to harvest the lead by clicking the harvest button. You can only
harvest and have active in your account, 10 leads at a time. Once you
have vetted a lead you plant the lead back into the field. Planting the
lead back opens up one of your 10 spots on your "My Leads" list.
If I harvest a lead, is it still in the Franchise Field?
Any lead that is harvested is no longer available to any other user until
the lead is planted back into the field. There are no duplicates in the
Franchise Field.
How do I plant leads in the field?
Planting leads can be done one of two ways. First, click the Add Leads
button located on your account homepage. You will have two options. To
Upload File or
Add A Lead. Uploading a list must be done using the template provided. Add A Lead
allows you to manually add one lead to the field at a time. Any leads
planted in the field will be reviewed to insure there are no duplicates
in the field. You will be credited for adding leads to the field and will
receive credits according to the number of leads added.
How many leads can I harvest?
You can harvest 10 leads at a time that are workable in your "My Leads"
section but you only have as many credits as Leads you have planted in
the field. In order to harvest a lead you must plant leads in the field.
So if you plant 5,000 unused leads, you will receive 5,000 credits towards
new leads to harvest.
Why would I plant leads for others to harvest?
By planting leads you gain credits to harvest your own leads. This tool
is only as powerful as the participants who use it. If everyone freely
plants leads that are no longer valuable to them into Franchise Field,
everyone benefits.
What happens after I have talked to a lead that I harvested?
You should add any pertinent information in the notes section on the lead
that you garnered while talking with them. Once you have finished vetting
the lead, you should plant it back into the field.
What happens if a lead I harvested becomes a sale?
Add any pertinent information to the notes of the lead and mark the lead
as a sale by checking the sale button. Then plant the lead back into the field.
How do I search leads?
Click the Search Leads button on your account homepage. Select the criteria
specific to your sales objectives and click "Search Leads".
The leads that fit your criteria in the field will appear and you will
have the option to harvest those leads depending on the spots available
in your "My Leads" list. Any previous searches can be saved
in your "My Searches" section where they can be referred back
to in the future.
What are suggested leads?
Suggested leads are leads that fit criteria you have searched for in the
past. Those will appear in your "Suggested Leads" section under
your account homepage.
What happens to leads who no longer want to be contacted?
There may be times where leads that are harvested say that they no longer
want to be contacted. In these instances, select the button on the lead
that says "Do Not Call" then plant the lead back into the field.
You will be credited the lead and that lead will no longer be searchable
within Franchise Field.
